There is a wide variety of styles I'm interested in. On my soundcloud page you can hear music, most of which is in various stages of development, meaning that they're works in progress. Much of my music, although instrumental, is about something. My CD ,"An Uncommon Prayer: and other short stories" was conceived as musical short stories, personal or fiction, not that anyone should have to guess. They should take on whatever meaning, or none, they have for the listener.
The two above videos were filmed by my high school students John Coleman at the CJP 1.0 concert at Clara Feb 28, 2018. The above is most of my solo on Maiden Voyage. Above that is roughly half of my solo on the Bud Powell song, “Wail.” Thank you John!
